WHEREAS,maintaining and preservuig the local street and road system it good condition will i educe drive tines and traffic congestion, improve bicycle safety, and make the pedestrian experience safer and more appealing, which leads to reduce velntcle ennissioins helping the State achieve its air quality and greernhouse gas ernissions reductions goals, and WHEREAS,the SB 1 project list and overall investment in out local streets and roads infrastiucture with a focus on basic maintenance and safety,investing in complete streets nnfiastructure, and using cutting-edge technology, materials and practices,will have significant positive co-benefits statewide, NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands as follows Section 1 The foregoing recitals are true and correct Section 2 The City's budget for fiscal year 2017-18 is hereby amended to incorporate the list of projects, attached hereto as Exhibit"A,"planned to be funded with Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account revenues Section 3 Adoption of this budget annendinent does not commit the city to implement any specific project and as such there is no environmental impact to this action.
