GRANT DEED This Indenture , made the 16th day of April, 1957 , between ROBERT M. and THELMA E. SCARBOROUGH, the party of the first part and CITY OF REDLANDS , the party of the second part, WITNESSETH: That the said party of the first part does GRANT unto the said party of the second part, and to said party' s heirs and assigns forever, all that certain lot , piece or parcel of land, situate , lying and being in the City of Redlands , County of San Bernardino , and State of California, and bounded and par- ticularly described as follows , to wit: An easement for the construction and maintenance of an underground drain pipe lying in a portion of the North- west quarter of Section 1, Township 2 South, Range 3 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, in the City of Redlands , County of San Bernardino, State of California, as per Government Survey, said easement being more particularly described as follows : A five foot wide strip of land lying 22 feet on each side of the following described centerline .
