I AGREEF1ENT 2 THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 1st day of 3 July, 1950, by and between the COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO, a body 4 corporate and politic of the State of California, hereinafter re- 5 ferred to as COUNTY, and the CITY OF REDLANDS, a municipal corpora- 6 tion, hereinafter referred to as CITY, 7 WITNESSETH: RECITALS 1. 10 It is mutually understood and agreed that both parties 11 are desirous of securing uniform enforcement of all laws and ordi- 12 nances pertaining to the public health and sanitation within the 13 incorporated area of the City of Redlands and the unincorporated 14 area immediately adjacent thereto and that the Health Department 15 of the County of San Bernardino is equipped to render such service, 16 AGREEMENTS 17 Pursuant to the foregoing recitals it is hereby mutually 18 agreed: 19 20 That pursuant to the provisions of Division 1, Part 2, 21 Chapter 1, Article 2A of the Health and Safety Code of the State 22 of California, County agrees to perform by and through the County 23 Health Officer and other employees of the County, all functions 24 relating to the enforcement in the City of Redlands of all ordi- Z5 nances thereof relating to public health and sanitation, except 26 ordinances pertaining to the control of rabies, and the making of 27 all inspections and the performance of all functions in connection 28 therewith, and City agrees to accept such services and to pay for 29 the same as hereinafter provided. 30 2. 31 That the services provided for herein shall begin on the 32 first day of July, 1950, and terminate on the 30th day of June , 1951.
