FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT <br />FOR THE PROVISION OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES WITH WILLDAN ENGINEERING <br />This first amendment ("First Amendment") to the agreement dated May 16, 2017 (the <br />"Agreement") by and between the City of Redlands, a municipal corporation ("City"), and <br />Willdan Engineering ("Consultant"), is made and entered into this 6th day of February, 2018. <br />RECITALS <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City and Consultant to amend their existing <br />Agreement, specifically Article 5 entitled "Payments to Consultant," to increase Consultant's <br />present total compensation of One Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars ($140,000) to the amount of <br />Three Hundred Ninety Thousand Dollars ($390,000) for Consultant's continued provision of <br />plan review, building inspection, building official, and Certified Access Specialist Program <br />(CASP) consulting services; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, City and Consultant agree as follows: <br />AGREEMENT <br />Section 1. Article 5 of the Agreement, entitled "Payments to Consultant," is hereby <br />amended to read as follows: <br />"5.1 The total compensation for Consultant's performance of the Services shall not <br />exceed the amount of Three Hundred Ninety Thousand Dollars ($390,000). City shall pay <br />Consultant on a time and materials basis up to the `not to exceed amount' based upon the hourly <br />rates shown in Exhibit `C,' entitled "Rate Schedule," which is attached hereto and incorporated <br />herein by this reference." <br />Section 2.
