08-SBd-10-PM 27.6135.1 <br /> From Mountain View Avenue to <br /> Wabash Avenue/Yucaipa Boulevard <br /> In the City of Redlands <br /> FREEWAY AGREEMENT <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into on this 20`x' day of March, 2018, by and <br /> between the STATE OF CALIFORNIA acting by and through the Department of <br /> Transportation (herein referred to as "STATE"), and the CITY OF REDLANDS (herein <br /> referred to as "CITY"). <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, the Interstate 10 freeway from Mountain View Avenue to Wabash <br /> Avenue/Yucaipa Boulevard in the City of Redlands (the "State Highway") has been <br /> declared to be a freeway by Resolution of the California Transportation Commission on <br /> July 24, 1957; and <br /> WHEREAS, STATE and CITY have entered into a Supplemental Freeway Agreement <br /> dated June 2, 1953, relating to that portion of the State Highway (old Route 26) from Fern <br /> Avenue to Wabash Avenue; and <br /> WHEREAS, STATE and CITY have entered into a Supplemental Freeway Agreement <br /> dated May 17, 1960, relating to that portion of the State Highway from Tennessee Street <br /> and Wabash Avenue; and <br /> WHEREAS, STATE and CITY have entered into a Freeway Agreement dated April <br /> 20, 1971, relating to that portion of the State Highway from west of Alabama Street to <br /> Orange Street; and <br /> WHEREAS, a revised plan map for the State Highway has been prepared showing the <br /> proposed plan of STATE as it affects roads of CITY; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the mutual desire of the parties hereto to enter into a new Freeway <br /> Agreement in accordance with the revised plan of said State Highway; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED: <br /> 1. This Agreement supersedes in its entirety said Supplemental Freeway Agreements <br /> dated June 2, 1953, and May 17, 1960, and supersedes that portion of said Freeway <br /> Agreement April 20, 1971, related to State Highway 10. <br /> 2. CITY agrees and consents to the closing of CITY roads, relocation of CITY roads, <br /> construction of frontage roads and other local roads, and other construction affecting <br /> CITY roads, all as shown on the plan map attached hereto, marked Exhibit"A," and <br /> made a part hereof by reference. <br /> 1 <br />
