M. <br /> A regular meeting of the City Council, City of Redlands, California, <br /> held at the regular place of meeting. <br /> Present: Councilmen Clapp, Cranston, Maccubbin, Spoor and Mayor <br /> Bruggemeyer, the Deputy City Clerk, Attorney and Engineer. <br /> • Absent: City Treasurer. <br /> The minutes of the last regular meeting were read, and after a change <br /> of the statement "regarding water being delivered at 35¢ under Contract B of years ago" <br /> to read "regarding water being delivered at 350 in a certain district while 50¢ and 600 <br /> was charged in the adjoining territory", were unanimously approved. <br /> The Mayor stated they were ready to hear from anyone having matters to <br /> present, whereupon A. Gregory representing a Chamber of Commerce committee consisting of <br /> himself, H. S. Williamson and Paul W. Moore, addressed the Council proposing a bond issue <br /> to relieve the labor situation in this district resulting from the recent freeze. An <br /> issue of $100,000.00 to pay for cost of materials for W.P.A. projects of a permanent <br /> nature was recommended. Mr. Moore stated that the Chamber of Commerce stood ready and <br /> willing to assist and co-operate with the Council in such an effort if they deemed it <br />
