ORDINANCE NO 2701 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE <br /> REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADOPTING A REVISED LAND USE ZONING <br /> MAP <br /> ZONE CHANGE NO 434 <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS DOES ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS <br /> Section 1. The zoning designation for approximately 24 acres of property <br /> designated as Assessor's Parcel No 0170-252-01 located on the northeast corner of <br /> University Street and Citrus Avenue, is hereby changed from R-2 (Multiple Family <br /> Residential District) to E (Educational District) on the City's Land Use Zoning Map as <br /> more particularly shown on the map attached hereto as Exhibit "A." <br /> Section 2. In accordance with Government Code Section 65863, the City Council <br /> of the City of Redlands hereby finds that the reduction of the residential density for the <br /> parcels affected by this zone change <br /> A Is consistent with the City's adopted General Plan, including the housing <br /> element of the General Plan, because the parcels that are the subject of this zone change <br /> have a General Plan land use designation of"Public Institutional," not residential Thus, <br /> this zone change will bring the parcels in conformity with the General Plan, and <br /> B The residential sites identified in the City's General Plan housing element are <br /> adequate to accommodate the City's share of its regional housing need pursuant to <br /> Government Code Section 65584 because the parcels affected by this zone change were <br /> not included within the General Plan housing element's multi-family residential <br /> inventory calculations <br /> Section 3 The Mayor shall sign this ordinance and the City Clerk shall certify to <br /> the adoption of this ordinance and shall cause it, or a summary of it, to be published once <br /> in the Redlands Daily Facts, a newspaper of general circulation within the City, and <br /> thereafter, this ordinance shall take effect in accordance with law <br /> _�Z'le /Ax <br /> Ma r of the City of Redlands <br /> ATTEST <br /> City erk <br /> DJMIOrdinance12701 ZC 434 <br />
