ORDINANCE NO. 22T9 AN 4RDINANCE �F THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING CHAPTER 2.10 4F THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADJUST BOUNDARIES OF COUNC�LMAIVIC DISTRICTS PURSUANT TQ CALT�'ORNTA ELECTI4NS C4DE SECT�ON 35141 VVHEREAS, members of the City Council of the City o�F Red�ands ("this City Cauncil"} are presently electeci by district; and WHEREAS, aft�r each decennial census ar�d, using that census as a basis, California Eiections Code Sec�zon 35101 requires this City Council ta adjust the boundaries o� the cauncilmanic districts of the City to �nsure that such districts are as equal in popula�on as may be; and WI�EREAS, this Czty Council has carefully reviewed the most recent decennial census data and, taking into account tk�e topogz�aphy, geography, cahesiveness, contiguity, integrity and compactness of territory and the community o� intearests o� �he dis�ricts, de�ermined thai the boundaries of the City's districts should be adjusted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT ORDAINED BY THE C�TY COUNCLL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS: SECTION ONE: Section 2.03.050 0� the Redlands Mur�xcipal shall be amended to aread as fflllows: "2.03.060 Numher o� Distric�s. There shall be five distr�cts in the City o� Redlands described as follows: DISTRYCT 1. AIl that land laca�ed in the City of Redlands lying within the following described baundary: Beginning at the intersec�on ai Bryn Mawr Avenue and the Redlands city limit line, said point being on tihe right-of way of the Mission Channel storm drain; thence northearly along Bryn Mawr Aven.ue to Lugonia Avenue; thence easterly along Lugonia Avenue to the Redlands city Iimit line, said point bezng 1.,320 feet, more or less, east of California Street; thence beginning in a�aortherly direction following the various courses of he Redlands city limit line to a point at the intersection of Lugonia Ave�ue and State Route 30; thence southerly along State Route 30 and Tennessee Street to Colton Avenue; thence easterly aiang Colton Avenue ta State Rnu�e i0; thence easterly along State Raute 10 to Sixth Street; thence southerly a.Iong Sixth Street �o Rec�lands Boulevard; thence easterly along Redlands Boulevard a�nd Cent:ral. Avenue to Church Street; ther�ce northerly along Church Street to the north line of th� south one-half of Section 15, T.1S., R.3W., SBBM; thence northwesterly along a line to a point, said point being on the soutli line of the north one-
