Bo PA638 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2350 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FINDING THAT A PORTION OF A <br /> CERTAIN STREET IS UNNECESSARY FOR PRESENT OR PROSPECTIVE STREET <br /> PURPOSES AND ORDERING THE VACATION OF SAID STREET <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS hereby ordains and <br /> resolves as follows ; <br /> SECTION ONE. The City Council of the City of Redlands having <br /> elected to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3 , Chapter <br /> 2 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, and <br /> having held a public hearing as provided therein, hereby finds from <br /> all the evidence submitted that the street described in this resolution <br /> is unnecessary for present or prospective purposes and that the public <br /> interest and convenience requires the closing of said street. <br /> SECTION TWO ; The City Council hereby orders the vacation of a <br /> portion of a street described as follows - <br /> The southerly 8.5 feet of fhe Terrace lying between Sixth <br /> Street and the easterly right of way line of State Highway <br /> 26 on-ramp, in the City of Redlands , State of California, <br /> more particularly described as follows . <br /> Beginning at the intersection of the southerly Line of the <br /> Terrace with the westerly line of Sixth Street as shown on <br /> County Surveyor' s Map number 7623 , page 29, in the office of <br /> the County Surveyor of San Bernardino County; thence north- <br /> westerly along a curve, concave southwesterly and having a <br /> radius of 13.00 feet , from an initial tangent bearing North <br /> o <br /> 20 27 , 49" West , through a central. angle of 690 <br /> 44 ' 52" , a dis- <br /> tance of 15. 83 feet to a point in a line parallel with and <br /> distant 8. 50 feet Northerly, measured at right angles , from <br /> said southerly line of the Terrace ; thence South 89047119" <br /> West, along said parallel lane, a distance of 318.31 feet to <br /> said easterly right of way line of State Highway 26 ; thence <br /> southeasterly along said easterly line and along a curve , <br /> concave southwesterly and having a radius of 154.00 feet, <br /> from an initial tangent bearing South 27037 '37" East, through <br /> a central angle of 3030 ' 3411 , a distance of 9.4a feet to said <br /> southerly line of the Terrace ; thence North 89 47 ' 19" East , <br /> along said Southerly line, a distance of 326. 42 feet to the <br /> Point of Beginning. <br /> SECTION THREE- In the proceeding herein adopted by this City <br /> Council for vacation of the street described in Section 2 , the City <br /> of Redlands reserves and excepts from the vacation the permanent ease- <br /> ment and right at any time, or from time to time, to construct , main- <br /> tain, operate, replace, remove and renew sanitary sewers and storm <br /> drains and appurtenant structures in, upon, over and across any street <br /> or part thereof proposed to be vacated and pursuant to any existing <br /> franchises or renewals thereof, or otherwise, to construct, maintain <br /> operate, replace, remove, renew and enlarge lines of pipe , conduits , <br /> cables , wises , poles , and other convenient structures , equipment and <br />
