C� eQQKSP ,9 FAA02 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2299__ <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FINDING THAT A PORTION OF SUNSET STREET IS <br /> UNNECESSARY FOR PRESENT OR PROSPECTIVE STREET PURPOSES AND ORDERING THE VACATION <br /> OF PORTION OF SAID STREET. <br /> The City Council of the City of Redlands hereby ordains and resolves <br /> as follows: <br /> SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands having elected <br /> to proceed under provisions of Division 5, Part 1, Chapter 29 Streets and <br /> Highways Code of the State of California, and having held a public hearing as <br /> provided herein, hereby finds from all the evidence submitted that the street <br /> described in this resolution is unnecessary for present or prospective street <br /> purposes and that the public interest and convenience requires the closing of <br /> a portion of said street. <br /> b. <br /> SECTION TWO- The City Council hereby orders the vacation of a portion <br /> of a certain street described as follows: <br /> All that portion of 60 foot wide Sunset Street between. <br /> Summit Avenue and Campbell Avenue as shown on Map No. 2 <br /> of a Portion of Redlands Heights recorded in Book 6, page <br /> 36 of Maps, San Bernardino County, State of California <br /> SECTION THREE: In the proceeding herein adopted by this City Council for <br /> the vacation of the street described in Section 2, the City of Redlands reserves <br /> and excepts from the vacation the permanent easement and right at any time, or <br /> from time to time, to construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove and renew <br /> sanitary sewers and storm drains and appurtenant structures in, upon, over and <br /> across any street or part thereof proposed to be vacated and pursuant to any <br /> existing franchises or renewals thereof, or otherwise to construct, maintain, <br /> operate, replace, remove, renew and enlarge lines of pipe, conduits, cables, <br /> hires, poles, and other convenient structures, equipment and fixtures for the <br /> operation of gas pipe lines, telegraphic and telephone lines, railroad lines, <br /> and for the distribution or transportation of electric energy, petroleum, its <br /> products, ammonia, water, and incidental purposes, including access and right <br /> to keep property free from inflammable materials, wood growth, and to otherwise <br /> protect the same from all hazard in, upon, and over the portion of street <br /> proposed to be vacated. <br /> SECTION FOUR: The City Council hereby determines that the vacation of <br /> the portion of street described herein is required by public interest, <br /> convenience, safety and welfare. <br /> ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this -ZL day of , 1963. <br /> ATTEST: <br /> f � <br /> City lark sl Charles C.
