D <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2239 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FINDING THAT A PORTION OF AN ALLEY OFF <br /> CENTRAL AVENUE IS UNNECESSARY FOR PRESENT OR PROSPECTIVE ALLEY PURPOSES AND <br /> ORDERING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF SAID ALLEY„ <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS hereby ordains and resolves � <br /> as follows: <br /> SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands having elected 441 <br /> to proceed under the provisions of Division 9' Part 3, Chapter 2 of the <br /> Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, and having held a <br /> public hearing as provided therein, hereby finds from all the evidence <br /> submitted that that portion of alley described in this resolution is unnecessary <br /> for present or prospective purposes and that the public interest and <br /> convenience requires the closing of that portion of said alley. <br /> SECTION TWO: The City Council hereby orders the vacation of that portion <br /> of an alley off Central. Avenue described as follows. <br /> All of that alley in the City of Redlands, County of San. <br /> Bernardino, State of California, being a portion of <br /> Lot 28, Block 77, Rancho San Bernardino as recorded in Book <br /> 7, Page 2, Records of said County, being also 20 feet in width and <br /> lying midway between Orange Street and Fourth Street extending north <br /> from the north line of Central. Avenue a distance of 90 feet, as <br /> said streets are shorn on the map of Central. Avenue Opening and <br /> Widening, Ordinance No. 773, as approved by City Council, <br /> January 3, 1934. <br /> SECTION THREE: In the proceeding herein adopted by this City Council <br /> for vacation of the alley described, in Section 2, the City of Redlands <br /> reserves and excepts from the vacation the permanent easement and right at <br /> any time, or from time to time, to construet, maintain, operate, replace, <br /> remove and renew sanitary sewers and storm drains and appurtenant structures <br /> in, upon, over and across any alley- or part theieef proposed to be vacated <br />
