O E.S1 0 <br /> " C{6I6.Fx�r4 by <br /> Ve""rTEP4 P7CORDLD MAIL TO �iC0'z _ 'Ei.'T�;i,IF�L`cFCvi7110' <br /> CITY CLFR3 e �,, CITY FALL SA11 k, t, COUNTY, U=i <br /> PIQLANDS, CALIF ^7��� ti tr <br /> 10077 UriN <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 3157 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FINDING THAT PORTIONS OF <br /> A CERTAIN STREET ARE UNNECESSARY FOR PRESENT OR PROSPECTIVE <br /> STREET PURPOSES AND ORDERING THE VACATION OF SAID PORTIONS <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS hereby ordains and re- <br /> solves as follows : <br /> SECTION ONE- The City Council of the City of Redlands, having <br /> elected to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chapter . <br /> 2 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, and <br /> having held a public hearing as provided therein, hereby finds from all <br /> evidence submitted that the portions of an alley described in this reso- <br /> lution are unnecessary for present or prospective purposes and that the <br /> public interest and convenience require the closing of said portions of <br /> an alley. <br /> SECTION TWO : The City Council hereby orders the vacation of por- <br /> tions of an alley described as follows: <br /> Legal Description for Vacation of that portion of Toyon Avenue as <br /> shown on Golden West Addition Tract No. 1934 as recorded in Book <br /> 28 of Maps, Page 3, and all of Toyon Avenue as shown on Abbot Sub- <br /> division Tract No 1985 as recorded in Book 28 of Maps, Page 66 in <br /> the Office of the County Recorder, County of San Bernardino, State <br /> of California described as follows : <br /> Beginning at the intersection of the Northeast right-of-way lane of <br /> Ash Street (50 feet wide) with the Northwest right--of-way line of Toyon <br /> Avenue (30 feet wide) ; thence Northeasterly along said Northwest right- <br /> of--way line of Toyon Avenue to its intersection with the Southwest right- <br /> of-way line of Bond Street (60 feet wide) ; thence Southeasterly along <br /> the Southeasterly prolongation of said Southwest right-of-way line of <br /> Bond Street to its intersection with the Southeast right--of-way line of <br /> said Toyon Avenue, thence Southwesterly along said Southeast right-of- <br /> way line of Toyon Avenue to its intersection with the Southeasterly <br /> prolongation of said Northeast right-of-way line of Ash Street; thence <br /> Northwesterly along said Southeasterly prolongation of the Northeast <br /> right-of-way line of Ash Street to the Point of Beginning. <br /> SECTION THREE: In the proceeding herein adopted by this City Coun- <br /> cil for the vacation of the street described in Section Two, the City of <br /> Redlands reserves and excepts from the vacation the permanent easement <br /> and right at any time, or from time to time, to construct, maintain, op- <br /> erate, replace, remove and renew sanitary sewers and storm drains and <br /> appurtenant structures, in, upon, over and across any street or part <br /> thereof proposed to be vacated and pursuant to any existing franchises <br /> or renewals thereof, or otherwise, to construct, maintain, operate, re- <br /> place, remove, renew and enlarge lines of pipe, conduits, cables, wires, <br /> poles and other convenient structures, equipment and fixtures for the <br /> operation of gas pipe lines, telegraphic and telephone lines, railroad <br />
