DENNIS WARDLE <br /> p:c, 3 D�_R <br /> SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CALIFA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 3332 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS FINDING THAT PORTIONS OF A <br /> CERTAIN STREET ARE UNNECESSARY FOR PRESENT OR PROSPECTIVE STREET <br /> PURPOSES AND ORDERING THE VACATION OF SAID PORTIONS <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS hereby ordains and <br /> resolves as follows : <br /> SECTION ONE The City Council of the City of Redlands, having <br /> elected to proceed under the provisions of Division 9, Part 3, Chap- <br /> ter 2 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, <br /> and having held a public hearing as provided therein, hereby finds <br /> from all evidence submitted that portions of a certain street des- <br /> cribed in this resolution are unnecessary for present or prospec- <br /> tive purposes and that the public interest and convenience require <br /> the closing of said portions of a certain street. <br /> SECTION TWO : The City Council hereby orders the vacation of <br /> portions of West Avenue described as follows . <br /> That portion of 60 foot wide West Avenue in the City <br /> of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, State of <br /> California, lying between Terracina Boulevard <br /> (formerly Crescent Boulevard) and Gravilla Avenue <br /> (vacated) as shown on Map of West Redlands per <br /> map recorded in Book 9, page 2 and as shown on <br /> Addition to Terracina No. 1 per map recorded in CI <br /> Book 6, page 7, records of said County. <br /> SECTION THREE- In the proceeding herein adopted by this City <br /> Council for the vacation of portions of a certain street described <br /> in Section Two, the City of Redlands reserves and excepts from the <br /> vacation the permanent easement and right at any time, or from <br /> time to time, to construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove and <br /> renew sanitary sewers and storm drains and appurtenant structures, <br /> in, upon, over and across any street or part thereof proposed to <br /> be vacated and pursuant to any existing franchises or renewals <br /> thereof, or otherwise, to construct, maintain, operate, replace, <br /> remove, renew and enlarge lines of pipe, conduits, cables, wires, <br /> poles and other convenient structures, equipment and fixtures for <br /> the operation of gas pipe lines, telegraphic and telephone lines, <br /> railroad lines, and for the distribution or transportation of elec- <br /> tric energy, petroleum, and its products, ammonia, water and <br /> incidental purposes, including access and right to keep property <br /> free from inflammable materials, and wood growth, and to otherwise <br /> protect the same from all hazards in, upon, and over the portion <br /> of the street proposed to be vacated. <br />
