A G R E E M E N T <br />This agreement, dated the 5th day of ct,, s t -, <br />1957, made by the City of Redlands, a municipal corporation, here- <br />inafter called "City" and the Redlands Chamber of Commerce, a <br />corporation, hereinafter called "Chamber of Commerce." <br />The City hereby agrees to appropriate the sum of four <br />thousand dollars ($4000-00) to be used by the Chamber of CoLimerce <br />during the fiscal year 1957-58 for no purpose other than the fol- <br />lowing: <br />1. To advertise and publicize the City of Redlands; <br />2. To induce immigration and visitation to said City; <br />3. To induce and promote industrial business and resi- <br />dential growth; <br />4. To exhibit manufactured and other products made in <br />and near the said City, and participate in industrial, commercial <br />and governmental fairs, conventions, expositions and exhibitions <br />for that purpose; <br />5. To advertise and furnish information to the general <br />public regarding the advantages of said City as a place to live, <br />work and establish industries and businesses; <br />6. To generally aid and promote the industrial expansion <br />of said City; <br />7. To cause to be prepared, published and disseminated <br />bulletins and other advertising matter relating to the foregoing <br />activities; <br />8. To compile data, photographs, literature and other <br />information with respect to the foregoing activities; and <br />9. To engage and pay competent personnel and agencies <br />to assist in carrying out the aforesaid purposes. <br />The Chamber of Commerce hereby agrees to -make an account- <br />ing of expenditures of said sum of four thousand dollars (34000-00) <br />in a manner clearly specifying the application of said funds during <br />
