AGREEMENT FOR PERMIT <br />The parties to this agreement for permit are R. C. DIETRICK, <br />hereinafter called "Dietrick" and the CITY OF REDLANDS, hereinafter called <br />"City" . <br />1. City agrees as follows: <br />1. To allow Dietrick to graze sheep on that portion of the <br />Cemetery property owned by City, as the Superintendent of the Cemetery <br />Department shall designate. <br />2. To charge no rent or other monetary consideration for <br />said permit. <br />11. Employee agrees to perform as follows: <br />1. To graze sheep on such property as the Cemetery Super- <br />intendent shall designate in a reasonable manner and follow all rules and <br />instructions as any official or employee of the City shall impose. <br />2. Owner to be held harmless. To waive all claims a- <br />gainst City for damages to goods, wares and merchandise in, upon or about <br />said Cemetery premises, and for injuries to City, its agents, or third <br />persons in or about said premises, from any cause arising at any time un- <br />less caused by the negligence or willful misconduct of City, its agents or <br />employees, and Dietrick will hold City exempt and harmless from any damage <br />or injury to any person, or to the goods, wares and merchandise of any <br />person, arising from the use of the premises by Dietrick unless caused by <br />the negligence or willful misconduct of City, its agents or employees, or <br />from the failure of Dietrick to keep the premises in good condi-Uon and <br />repair, as herein provided. City shall have the right to require such in- <br />siarance coverage as the City Council or City Manager shall deem proper to <br />protect City against liability of any kind. <br />Executed this day of 1961. <br />Employer, City of Redlands <br />e -e <br />B <br />Employee <br />
