4. Compensation to be paid to students participating in the program will <br />be appropriate and reasonable in light of the work to be performed by them. <br />5. The services and benefits of Agency which involve the work of such <br />students shall be available to all persons regardless of race, color, or <br />national origin. No student shall be denied participation in the Work -Study <br />Program because of race, color, or national origin. <br />6. Institution will be responsible for all employee benefits, unless <br />otherwise agreed by the parties hereto in writing. <br />7. This agreement shall be subject to the availability of funds to <br />Institution for the portion of the student's compensation not to be paid <br />by Agency. It shall also be subject to the provisions of the Economic <br />Opportunity Act of 1964, the regulations adopted thereunder, and all <br />legislation and regulations pertaining to the Work --Study Program adopted <br />subsequently. <br />8. This agreement may be cancelled by either party if there is a <br />failure to comply with the provisions of the agreement. <br />9. This agreement shall terminate .tune 30, 1969, unless sooner <br />terminated, and shall be subject to extension by the mutual agreement of <br />the parties hereto in writing. <br />10. The Institution shall be deemed the employer for purposes of this <br />agreement. It has the ultimate right to control and direct the services of <br />the student for the Agency. It shall also determine that the students meet <br />the eligibility requirements for employment under the College Work -Study <br />Program, assign students to work for the Agency, determine that the students <br />do perform their work in fact, and disburse the appropriate amounts to them. <br />The Agency's right shall be limited to direction of the details and means <br />by which the result is to be accomplished. <br />Compensation of students for work performed on a project under this <br />agreement will be paid by the Institution.
