A G R E E M E N T <br />THIS AGREEMENT by and between the CITY OF REDLANDS, <br />a municipal corporation of the State of California, hereinafter <br />called "City", and HOWARD L. BARNETT, hereinafter called "Barnett", <br />is dated this A day of 1968. <br />Recitals <br />1. Howard L. Barnett is the owner of all right, title, <br />and interest in the lease, dated November 12, 1964, effective <br />December 1, 1964, and all options to renew such lease of certain <br />real property in the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, <br />State of California, which property is more particularly described <br />on Exhibit A attached to this Agreement and incorporated as a part <br />hereof. <br />2. The City desires to acquire Barnett's leasehold in- <br />terest and all options to renew such lease in the property <br />described on Exhibit A. <br />Agreement <br />For and in exchange for the assignment and transfer <br />to the City of Redlands of all of Barnett's right, title, and <br />interest in the leasehold, all options to renew such lease, <br />interest on the real property described on Exhibit A, the City <br />agrees as follows: <br />1. To pay to Barnett the sum of Four Thousand and Five <br />Hundred Dollars ( $4, 500 .00) . <br />2. To allow Barnett to occupy the real property from the <br />date of this Agreement until he desires to vacate or until May <br />31, 1969, whichever time occurs sooner, for the same purposes <br />for which it has been used during the term of his lease, and <br />to pay rental to the City of $150.00 per month; provided that <br />Barnett may continue to use said property for such purposes <br />under the following conditions: <br />
