COTRACT THI0 A.GREEIT , made this day of ,19 ,571? by and heteen the City of Heolancls , California, a municipal corporation, herein'ajter called "City" , and hoy V. Shutt of Calimesa, California, called "Contractor" . The parties hereto for the term of one (1) year commencing on ( ' thej day of of 195 , and ending on the OY, day 9 195 '2 , do hereby agree as follows : That the City in consideration of the convenarts on the part of the Contractor herein contained , hereby arees with uhe , aid Contractor to allow ana permit him to have an exclusive contract for collection of approipately one (1) ton of garbage per day, six (6) days a weer from restaurants , hotels , markets , schools and hospitals within said City of healands under the supervision of the City Disposal superintendent , said Contractor to use his own equipment and employees in collection of said garbage . That the Contractor in consideration of the said covenants on the part of the City, agrees to and with the City, to collect approximately one (1) ton of ..., arbage a day from restaurants , hotels , markets , schools and hospitals within said City, six ( 6) days pei week, with his own equiwent and employees under the direction of the Disposal Superintendent as above / set forth, and that said contactor will pay to the City, or its order, the sum of One Dollar (a.00) per year, pa:yable in advance. That it is mutually agreed that this contract may be cancelled and abrogated by either party upon service of a thirty (30) day notice in writing of its intention to cancel said contract. That the Contractor shall exercise this contract subject to the upervision and niiection of the City Disposal ouperintendert and shall follow no practices or metnods for the removal or collection of garbage expressly prohibited by said 't;uperintendent . \(.
