City of Redlands City Council City Hall Redlands, California 92373 Attention: Mr. John Shone Subject: Engineering - Treatment Plant Facilities Gentlemen: 1523 SOUTH GRAND AVENUE SANTA ANA, CALIF. 92705 AREA CODE: (714) B35-1373 August 30, 1971 This letter constitutes our proposal to perform certain engineering services the City will require inorder to carry out recommendations contained in our forthcoming report on "Waste- water Treatment and Disposal Facilities". This report is pres- ently in a preliminary draft state, and copies of same will be forwarded to the City for their review and preliminary approval following receipt of tentative discharge requirements from the Regional Water Quality Control Board. As required by the Regional Board, the City has forwarded a proposed time schedule outlining the events that will occur during the report phase -design phase -construction phase of this proposed project. Inorder to meet certain deadlines contained in said schedule, it is most important that we proceed immediately on various aspects of the design, including the project report that must be forwarded as soon as possible to State --Federal agencies for approval. We will provide detailed plans and specifications and other related services as herein set forth: DETAILED PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS We will render the following engineering services in con- nection with the design of the treatment facilities: (l) Assist in application for public grants to offset the cost of construction of the treatment facilities, including preparing and submitting a Project Report to the State Water Resources Control Board.
