City of Redlands City Council Mr. John Shone August 30, 1971 (2) Perform all necessary engineering work incident to the preparation of detailed construction plans and specifications, including bidding, bond and contract forms. (3) Hold detailed conferences with the City to review their wishes and requirements, and to discuss scheduling. Review the project with Council and staff, upon completion of Preliminary Design. (4) Meet with the appropriate Regulatory Agencies through- out the project to assure compliance with Local, State, and Federal requirements. (5) Plan for and assist the City in procuring the necessary field information for design. This will include field surveys and soils investigations, (6) Upon completion of the plans and specifications to pre- pare and submit a detailed statement of the estimated costs of construction. (7) To furnish the City with 40 sets of specifications, and furnish the City at cost, copies of the plans as they request. (8) To assist the City in calling for bids and in the making of the construction awards, (9) To make our services available to the City for advice and consultation relative to interpretation of the plans and specifications, and for other incidental general purposes as required during construction. Our fee for performing the above services is: Fee for Detailed Plans and Specifications. Our fee for per- forming the services in connection with Detailed Plans and Specifica- tions will be in accordance with the curves set forth by the American Society of Civil Engineers Manual No. 45, entitled, "Consulting Engineering - A Guide for the Engagement of Engineering Services', less the report fee.
