GRANT CONDITIONS <br />1. General <br />a. Subgrantee agrees that the funds awarded pursuant to this grant award will <br />be used in accordance with all the terms and conditions set forth in or <br />incorporated by reference in: (1) this grant award (which includes the <br />title page, the application for the grant which is attached hereto as <br />Attachment A and made a part hereof, and these Grant Conditions which are <br />'attached hereto as Attachment B and made a part hereof); (2) the CCCJ <br />Fiscal Affairs Manual, as amended from time to time, which is hereby <br />incorporated in these Grant Conditions; and (3) the Safe Streets Act. <br />b. Subgrantee agrees that funds awarded pursuant to this grant award will be <br />used to supplement and not to supplant funds otherwise made available <br />for law enforcement purposes, and to the extent possible, will be used <br />to increase such funds: <br />c. Subgrantee agrees to make available and to expend from non-federal sources <br />adequate resources to meet the matching requirements specified in the <br />Safe Streets Act in accordance with the applicable regulations and require- <br />ments of the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration, hereinafter <br />called "LEAP. <br />d. Subgrantee understands that the award of this grant in no way assures or <br />.implies continuation of funding beyond the project duration indicated in <br />this grant award. <br />2. Del in Initiatin2 Project. If the project has not been initiated and operated <br />in accordance with this grant award within sixty (60) days after the commence- <br />ment date of this grant award, the Subgrantee shall submit a report, no later <br />than ten (10) days after the expiration of said sixty (60) day period, to CCCJ <br />indicating the steps taken to initiate the project, the reasons for the delay <br />and the expected starting date. <br />
