AGREEMENT <br /> THIS AGREEMENT , by and between the City of Redlands, herein- <br /> after called "Redlands" and the City of Loma Linda, hereinafter <br /> called "Loma Linda" , is dated the 3rd day of August , 1976. <br /> RECITALS <br /> 1. The construction of the Veteran' s Administration Hospital <br /> facilities by the United States Government is desirable to the area <br /> surrounding Loma Linda for economic and professional reasons . <br /> 2. Loma Linda ' s water production capabilities should be <br /> increased to provide adequate service to the hospital. <br /> 3. The necessary increase to provide service to the Veteran' s <br /> Administration, is 300 gallons per minute continuous flow. <br /> 4 The Veteran's Administration has indicated a willingness <br /> to construct adequately sized reservoir and pipelines to serve the <br /> hospital. <br /> 5. The Veteran's Administration has indicated a willingness <br /> to cooperate with Loma Linda to develop a well that will provide <br /> Loma Linda with the production capability to adequately serve the <br /> hospital. <br /> 6. Redlands has sufficient production capability subject to <br /> no major equipment failures and is willing to provide the 300 G P M. <br /> under the terms hereinafter agreed upon to Lorna Linda <br />
