COVENANTS <br /> For and in consideration of the covenants contained herein, <br /> the parties agree as follows <br /> 1. Loma Linda will purchase domestic water from Redlands <br /> at the existing metered location within Mountain View Avenue <br /> approximately 300 feet north of Redlands Boulevard. <br /> 2. Water deliveries to Loma Linda may commence under the <br /> terms of this Agreement on July 1, 1977. Deliveries will be made <br /> available continuously through a period of three (3) years ending <br /> on June 30, 1980, with the provision that Loma Linda and Redlands <br /> may mutually extend water deliveries hereunder to a period ending <br /> June 30, 1982 by written amendment to this agreement on or before <br /> April 1, 1980. <br /> 3. The rate of delivery of domestic water shall not exceed <br /> 300 G. P. M. at any instant. <br /> 4. Loma Linda will attempt to require the Veteran' s Adminis- <br /> tration to secure Budget Approval of Water Capital Items in their <br /> next fiscal budget. <br /> 5. Loma Linda will diligently pursue the agreement with the <br /> Veteran' s Administration to develop the additional water production <br /> and storage facilities required by the Veteran' s Administration, <br /> thereby relieving Redlands of the necessity of this Agreement. <br /> 6. This Agreement will become null and void if the Veteran's <br /> Administration fails to enter into the agreement with Loma Linda <br /> -2- <br />
