1 . An inventory of approximately 300 historical and architectural resources within the City of Redlands. The survey shall be accomplished by a survey and inventory team under the supervision of Dr. Larry Burgess, Archivist for the City of Redlands. The contact person for this project shall be Dr. Larry Burgess, c/o A. K. Smiley Public Library, 125 West Vine Street, Redlands, California 92373. 2. Contractor shall prepare ten (10) copies of a final typewritten report to be submitted to the Office of Historic Preservation discussing managerial organization, project goals, methods and techniques and accomplishments. 3 All surveyed sites within the designated area shall be reviewed by a committee which shall consist of Frank F. Moore and Dr Paul F. Allen. All surveyed sites shall be recorded on the California Historic Resources Inventory Form, DPR 523 (rev 7/75) . 4 The forms shall be prepared according to the guidelines for the Statewide Survey. They shall indicate zone and Universal Transverse Mercator coordinates and include a black and white photograph of each surveyed resource. 5 The potential eligibility of these sites to the National Register of Historic Places shall also be assessed by the review committee of Moore, Allen and Burgess. 6. The staff of this survey project shall consist of members of the Redlands Area Historical Society, Incorporated, students from Dr. Burgess' Archives class, University of Redlands, a student in Urban Planning from Cal-Poly, Pomona; a student in the Western American Studies Program, University of California, Riverside, and an intern from the San Bernardino County Museum. 7. Completion of this project will be useful for coordination of an extensive redevelopment program now in progress within the City. When completed, the Inventory information shall be available for public research in the Archives of the A. K. Smiley Public Library. One copy of each reviewed inventory form and respective photograph shall be forwarded to the California Office of Historic Preservation. 8. Any publication resulting from the survey shall include the following statement "This publication was partially funded under the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 through the California Office of Historic Preservation " 9 Contractor shall keep accurate records which document expenditures including a. Salary and benefits for staff. b. Honorariums for Review Board. c Photocopy and stationary supplies d. Photographs e. Mileage cost for field inspection. Contractor shall document staff and volunteer time used for this project on strictly kept ti sheets 10. The contract period shall be from the date of this signed agreement and shall extend for one full year from that date.
