1 . An inventory of approximately 300 historical and architectural resources within <br /> the City of Redlands. The survey shall be accomplished by a survey and <br /> inventory team under the supervision of Dr. Larry Burgess, Archivist for the <br /> City of Redlands. The contact person for this project shall be Dr. Larry Burgess, <br /> c/o A. K. Smiley Public Library, 125 West Vine Street, Redlands, California 92373. <br /> 2. Contractor shall prepare ten (10) copies of a final typewritten report to be <br /> submitted to the Office of Historic Preservation discussing managerial <br /> organization, project goals, methods and techniques and accomplishments. <br /> 3 All surveyed sites within the designated area shall be reviewed by a committee <br /> which shall consist of Frank F. Moore and Dr Paul F. Allen. All surveyed <br /> sites shall be recorded on the California Historic Resources Inventory Form, <br /> DPR 523 (rev 7/75) . <br /> 4 The forms shall be prepared according to the guidelines for the Statewide <br /> Survey. They shall indicate zone and Universal Transverse Mercator coordinates <br /> and include a black and white photograph of each surveyed resource. <br /> 5 The potential eligibility of these sites to the National Register of Historic <br /> Places shall also be assessed by the review committee of Moore, Allen and <br /> Burgess. <br /> 6. The staff of this survey project shall consist of members of the Redlands Area <br /> Historical Society, Incorporated, students from Dr. Burgess' Archives class, <br /> University of Redlands, a student in Urban Planning from Cal-Poly, Pomona; a <br /> student in the Western American Studies Program, University of California, <br /> Riverside, and an intern from the San Bernardino County Museum. <br /> 7. Completion of this project will be useful for coordination of an extensive <br /> redevelopment program now in progress within the City. When completed, the <br /> Inventory information shall be available for public research in the Archives <br /> of the A. K. Smiley Public Library. One copy of each reviewed inventory form <br /> and respective photograph shall be forwarded to the California Office of <br /> Historic Preservation. <br /> 8. Any publication resulting from the survey shall include the following statement <br /> "This publication was partially funded under the National Historic Preservation <br /> Act of 1966 through the California Office of Historic Preservation " <br /> 9 Contractor shall keep accurate records which document expenditures including <br /> a. Salary and benefits for staff. <br /> b. Honorariums for Review Board. <br /> c Photocopy and stationary supplies <br /> d. Photographs <br /> e. Mileage cost for field inspection. <br /> Contractor shall document staff and volunteer time used for this project on strictly kept ti <br /> sheets <br /> 10. The contract period shall be from the date of this signed agreement and shall <br /> extend for one full year from that date. <br />
