CONSULTANT AGREEMENT <br />THIS AGREEMENT is entered into on the dates herein set forth <br />by and between the City of Redlands, herein referred to as <br />Contractor, and Lynne McEuen, herein referred to as Contractee. <br />Contractor, now constructing a Joslyn Senior Center, desires <br />to develop a program which will create a successful venture for <br />the Center and be of benefit to the senior citizens of Redlands. <br />Contractee has had extensive experience in the field of senior <br />programs and activities as well as senior center administration <br />and is well experienced in the organization, planning and <br />development of volunteer programs. <br />WHEREFORE the parties agree as follows: <br />1. The term of the contract shall commence June 27, 1977 and <br />terminate May 26, 1978. <br />2. For services of contractee, the contractor shall pay the <br />sum of $9.00 per hour for 768 hours of work, totaling <br />$6912.00, payable semi-monthly for the period of this <br />contract. <br />3. Contractee, for the period and sum set forth, shall devote <br />said time to the activities and tasks listed: <br />a. Establish clear policies, proceedures and practices <br />for optimum use of volunteer resources. <br />(1) Plan orientation, training and supervision for <br />volunteers. <br />(2) Identify meaningful roles for volunteers. <br />(3) Review volunteer assignments and scheduled hours <br />to determine it they are clearly defined, under- <br />stood and accepted by both volunteer and paid <br />staff. <br />b. Plan for in-service training of paid staff, developing <br />good management skills for the effective operation of <br />the Center. <br />c. Assist the Director in the development of a Center <br />program that is acceptable, appropriate, balanced, <br />open and challenging. <br />d. Submit final report evaluating <br />various program components wi <br />improvement. <br />Ro ert H.
