<br />Gentlemen:
<br />The imdersiened
<br />duly appointed
<br />and
<br />qwalified as Commis-
<br />sioners to assess hgnefits and
<br />damaEes and to
<br />have
<br />general supervision
<br />of the improvements ordered by Ordinance P;o.189, of said City, gassed
<br />Novembor 21st., A. D. 1824, providing, for the openinL W extending of
<br />West, State Street, in said City, having, made their assessment, of benefits
<br />and dahagas, herewith rescechfilly submit, to your honorable Body the
<br />following; report thereof accompanied by a plat of tha assessment district -
<br />showing the lands to he taken for said improvement, and the lards assessed
<br />therefor, which said plat, is hereto attached.
<br />After having; duly (Iiialified as s"Oh commissioners, we ;proceeded to
<br />view the lends described in the Resolution of Intention to order chid
<br />improvements, passed October 10t,h, 1804, and having, viewad� the lands to
<br />be taken c tii the improvements affected, and de jarmined the value of the
<br />lands and-Ke 'damage to improvements and property affected, and also the
<br />amoiuit of t;he Apanses incident, to said improvement, we proceeded be
<br />assess, and have assessed the same upon the district, of lands declared
<br />benefited, the exterior houndari: s of which ware fixed by said Resolution
<br />of intention, and have made said assebsments on said lands in proportion
<br />to t,ho benefits to be derived from said improvement,, so far- h s we could

<br />The said lands to he taken for said improvement ara those embraced
<br />on the arcor.naryine., plat by tha lines lettered -- A - R - C - D - FJ - F -
<br />G-O-P;Q-V-R-T-U-&-A, boi;ndod by red and blue lines, and
<br />the several lots or subdivisions therein are desiEpated on sa.i.d plat, by
<br />the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14.
