RESOLUTION NO 8097 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS <br /> APPROVING AMENDMENT NO 45 TO THE EAST VALLEY CORRIDOR <br /> SPECIFIC PLAN (SPECIFIC PLAN NO 40) <br /> WHEREAS, Griffin Residential, LLC ("Applicant") has filed an application for <br /> Amendment No 45 to Specific Plan No 40 ("East Valley Comdor Specific Plan") to amend the <br /> land use map to remove four parcels (APNs 0167-091-02-0000, 0167-091-04-0000, 0167-091- <br /> 05-0000, and 0167-091-08-0000) from the East Valley Comdor Specific Plan and rescind the <br /> designation of Special Development District (EV/SD) for such parcels, which are located on the <br /> north side of San Bernardino Avenue, south side of Pioneer Avenue, and west side of Texas <br /> Street (the "Specific Plan Amendment"), and <br /> WHEREAS, on May 1, 2020, notice of the Planning Commission's public hearing for the <br /> Specific Plan Amendment was published in the Redlands Daily Facts, and <br /> WHEREAS, on May 12, 2020, the Planning Commission held a noticed public hearing at <br /> which interested persons had an opportunity to testify in support of, or in opposition to, the <br /> Specific Plan Amendment, and at which the Planning Commission considered the Specific Plan <br /> Amendment, and <br /> WHEREAS, at the public hearing on May 12, 2020 the Planning Commission determined <br /> that the Specific Plan Amendment would be in conformity with the 2035 General Plan, and <br /> WHEREAS, on September 30, 2019, the Planning Commission recommended to the <br /> City Council that Specific Plan Amendment be approved, and <br /> WHEREAS on June 5, 2020, notice of the City Council's public hearing for the Specific <br /> Plan Amendment was published in the Redlands Daily Facts by the City Clerk, and <br /> WHEREAS, on June 16, 2020, the City Council held a public hearing and considered the <br /> staff written and oral reports, the recommendation of the Planning Commission, the testimony <br /> and written evidence submitted by and on behalf of the applicant, and testimony by members of <br /> the public, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS <br /> Section 1 Specific Plan Amendment Approved Specific Plan Amendment No 45 to <br /> the East Valley Corridor Specific Plan ("Specific Plan No 40") is determined to be in conformity <br /> with the City's General Plan and is hereby approved Specific Plan Amendment No 45 shall <br /> amend the land use map to remove following four parcels (Assessor's Parcel Numbers 0167-091- <br /> 02-0000, 0167-091-04-0000, 0167-091-05-0000, and 0167-091-08-0000) from Specific Plan No <br /> 1 <br /> I\Resolutions\Res 8000 8099\8097 Gnffin Residential Specific Plan Amendment No 45 docx <br />
