RESOLUTION NO. 8166 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS <br />ADOPTING A SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY PLAN IN SATISFATION OF A <br />PLANNING GRANT AWARDED TO THE CITY BY SOUTHERN <br />CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS <br />WHEREAS, in 2017, the City of Redlands ("City") was awarded a Sustainability Planning <br />Grant ("Grant") in the amount of two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) from the Southern <br />California Association of Governments ("SCAG") to develop a Sustainable Mobility Plan <br />("Plan'); and <br />WHEREAS, acceptance of the Grant requires the City to commit fifty thousand dollars <br />($50,000) in local matching funds, or in -kind services, towards preparation of the Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, SCAG has informed the City it approves City staff time as appropriate "in - <br />kind services" in satisfaction of the City's obligations under the Grant; and <br />WHEREAS, SCAG will provide administrative grant management of the Plan including <br />Grant acceptance, procurement, and consultant payment processing; and <br />WHEREAS, City staff will coordinate with SCAG through attendance at meetings, and the <br />provision of general information and support, as the Plan is implemented; and <br />WHEREAS, the Plan is now complete and requires City Council adoption; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands, <br />as follows: <br />Section 1. That approval of this Resolution is exempt from review pursuant to Section <br />15061(b)(3) of the State's Guidelines implementing the California Environmental Quality Act. <br />Section 2. That the Sustainable Mobility Plan, in the form attached to this Resolution <br />as Exhibit "A," is hereby adopted. <br />ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 2nd d of March, 2021. <br />ti <br />Paul T.
