RESOLUTION NO 8240 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS <br />APPROVING A ONE-YEAR EXTENSION OF THE EXPIRATION DATE FOR <br />COMMISSION REVIEW AND APPROVAL NO 909 <br />WHEREAS, Chase Holdings, LP has submitted an application for a one-year extension of <br />time for Commission Review and Approval No 909 for the construction of two medical office <br />buildings (the "Project"), approximately 7,314 and 9,400 square -feet in size, located on the north <br />side of West Redlands Boulevard and 250 east of North Nevada Street (APN's 0292-063-58-0000 <br />and 0292-063-59-0000) in the EV/CG (General Commercial) District of the East Valley Corridor <br />Specific Plan (the "Project"), and <br />WHEREAS, on September 24, 2019, the Planning Commission held a public hearing and <br />adopted Resolution No 1475 approving Commission Review and Approval No 909 and the Socio- <br />Economic Cost Benefit Study for the Project; and <br />WHEREAS, Redlands Municipal Code section 18 12.130 permits an applicant to seek a one- <br />year extension of time for the expiration date of a Commission Review and Approval, provided such <br />extensions of time are limited to three; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant intends to develop the Project, and requests the extension given <br />the current economic climate and the current cost of building material, and <br />WHEREAS, following the hearing for the extension of time for Commission Review and <br />Approval No 909, the City Council determined that the approval of the requested one-year extension <br />of time is in the best interests of the public health, safety, and general welfare; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS <br />Section 1. California Environmental Quality Act. Approval of this Resolution requires no <br />further environmental review by the City because the Project was exempt from environmental review <br />pursuant to section 15332 of the State Guidelines implementing the California Environmental <br />Quality Act. <br />Section 2. Approval of Time Extension. The proposed one-year extension of time for <br />Commission Review and Approval No 909 is hereby approved in accordance with Redlands <br />Municipal Code section 18 12 130 <br />Section 3, Expiration Date. The new expiration date for Commission Review and <br />Approval No 909 is September 24, 2022 The Project shall remain subject to all original conditions <br />of approval contained in Planning Commission Resolution No 1475 <br />Section 4.
