RESOLUTION NO 4950 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS <br />AMENDING AGRICULTURAL PRESERVE BOUNDARIES PREVIOUSLY <br />ESTABLISHED BY RESOLUTION NO 4943 <br />AGRICULTURAL PRESERVE REMOVAL NO 86 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redlands has established certain agricultural preserves <br />pursuant to the California Land Conservation Act of 1965, and <br />WHEREAS, Resolution No 4888 adopted by the City Council of the City of <br />Redlands on July 7, 1992, established policy criteria for removal of certain lands from <br />within the City's Agricultural Preserve, and <br />WHEREAS, an application has been made to remove certain lands from <br />agricultural preserve status, thereby amending the City's agricultural preserve <br />boundaries <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Redlands that. <br />1 The applicant is the legal owner of record, <br />2 The application is in conformity with the Redlands' General Plan, <br />3 The land requested to be removed from the Preserve does not circumvent land <br />under contract in accordance with the California Land Conservation Act of 1965, <br />4 The removal of the lands will not adversely impact the City's goals of <br />discouraging premature and unnecessary conversion of agricultural land to urban <br />uses, and will not encourage discontinuous urban development patterns that <br />unnecessarily increase the costs of community services to Redlands' citizens, <br />5 That the real property located in the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, <br />State of California, as definitely set forth in the amended map attached hereto in <br />Exhibit "A," which is incorporated by reference herein, is hereby designated and <br />established as an Agricultural Preserve within the meaning of and pursuant to the <br />California Land Conservation Act of 1965, as amended, and <br />6 Parcels identified by July, 1992, San Bernardino County Assessor's Parcel <br />Nos 294-101-22, 175-241-05, 175-242-02, 175-251-05, 294-091-06, 07, 13, 36, <br />38, 41, are deleted from the Agricultural Preserve as established by Resolution <br />No 4943 <br />
