RESOLUTION NO. 2524 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF REDLANDS <br />ESTABLISHING RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR FISHING IN <br />ISAAC FORD PARK <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redlands has recently completed <br />development of a park for the enjoyment of all local <br />citizens, and <br />WHEREAS, in this park there have been constructed a <br />pond for fishing and a pond for rearing fish, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Council that <br />fishing pleasure be reserved and preserved for the <br />children of the City, and <br />WHEREAS, the fish now in the ponds are not yet of a <br />size practical for catching, <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED. <br />That this City Council, acting in behalf of the children <br />of the City of Redlands, establishes the following rules <br />for fishing in Isaac Ford Park. <br />a. All children fishing shall have a permit issued <br />by the office of the City Treasurer. <br />b. This permit shall limit the catch to five fish <br />per child, per day, limit the hours from noon <br />to sundown on Saturdays and Sundays; forbid <br />overhead casting; and shall be used only by the <br />child to whom issued <br />c. The age shall be limited to 12 years and under - <br />with small children being accompanied by an adult. <br />d.
