RESOLUTION NO 8183
<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS
<br />APPROVING AMENDMENT NO 139 TO THE REDLANDS GENERAL PLAN
<br />TO CHANGE THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FROM "LOW DENSITY
<br />RESIDENTIAL" TO "HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" FOR 5 7-ACRE SITE
<br />LOCATED AT 1205-1219 N. UNIVERSITY STREET
<br />WHEREAS, Dynamic Redlands, LLC ("Applicant") has filed applications for a Socio-
<br />Economic Cost Benefit Study, General Plan Amendment No 139, Zone Change No. 462,
<br />Conditional Use Permit No 1096, Commission Review and Approval No 927, and Tentative Tract
<br />Map No 20162 for a 147-unit multi -family residential development located on a 5.7-acre parcel
<br />of property at 1205-1219 N University Street (APNs. 1212-371-01-0000, 1212-371-05-0000,
<br />1212-371-06-0000, 1212-371-07-0000, 1212-371-08-0000, 1212-371-09-0000, 1212-371-10-
<br />0000, 1212-371-11-0000, 1212-371-12-0000, 1212-371-13-0000, 1212-371-14-0000, 1212-371-
<br />15-0000, 1212-371-16-0000, 1212-371-17-0000, 1212-371-18-0000, 1212-371-19-0000, and
<br />1212-371-20-0000) ("GPA No. 139"), and
<br />WHEREAS, on December 16, 2020, the Planning Commission held a noticed public
<br />hearing at which interested persons had an opportumty to testify in support of, or in opposition to,
<br />the Project, including GPA No 139, and recommended to the City Council that both GPA No 139
<br />and the Project be approved, and
<br />WHEREAS, on Apnl 6, 2021, the City Council held a public hearing and considered the
<br />staff written and oral reports, the recommendation of the Planning Commission, the testimony and
<br />written evidence submitted by and on behalf of the applicant, and testimony by members of the
<br />public,
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS
<br />Section 1 GPA No 139 is hereby approved to change the General Plan land use
<br />designation of approximately 4 65 acres, from "Low Density Residential" to "High Density
<br />Residential" for county of San Bernardino Assessor Parcel Nos 1212-371-05-0000, 1212-371-06-
<br />0000, 1212-371-07-0000, 1212-371-08-0000, 1212-371-09-0000, 1212-371-10-0000, 1212-371-
<br />11-0000, 1212-371-12-0000, 1212-371-13-0000, 1212-371-14-0000, 1212-371-15-0000, 1212-
<br />371-16-0000, 1212-371-17-0000, 1212-371-18-0000, 1212-371-19-0000, and 1212-371-20-0000
<br />as more particularly shown on the map attached hereto as Exhibit "A "
<br />Section 2. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption
