RESOLUTION NO 7683 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS APPROVING <br />THE NAMING OF VARIOUS CITY PROPERTIES LOCATED IN SAN TIMOTEO CANYON <br />WHEREAS, m 2010, the City Council of the City of Redlands approved a Conservation <br />Easement Deed m favor of the Redlands Conservancy for various city properties located m San <br />Timoteo Canyon, and <br />WHEREAS, m July 2016, the Redlands Conservancy's Board of Directors moved to name <br />the properties more particularly described m Exhibit A which is attached hereto and mcorporated <br />herem by this reference, and <br />WHEREAS, the naming of the properties with a fonnal name will encourage users to <br />appreciate the fragile nature and essential value of the property as the teen "sanctuary" does not <br />exclude human use, but donotes a special place where the human visitors are the guests, and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Redlands as follows <br />1 That the City Council of the City of Redlands names the subject properties as the <br />"San Tunoteo Nature Sanctuary" <br />ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 18th day of October, 2016 <br />—Paul W Foster, Mayor <br />Sam I , City Clerk <br />I \cclerk\Resolutions\Res 7600-7699\7683 San Timoteo Open Space Naming docx <br />
