MINUTES <br />Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Redlands held in the Council Chambers, Civic Center, <br />35 Cajon Street, on April 6, 2022 at 5 00 P M <br />Present <br />Staff <br />Paul Banch, Mayor <br />Eddie Tejeda, Mayor Pro Tempore <br />Denise Davis, Council Member <br />Jenna Guzman -Lowery, Council Member <br />Mick Gallagher, Council Member <br />Charles M Duggan, Jr , City Manager, Dan McHugh, City Attorney, Jeanne Donaldson, <br />City Clerk, Janice McConnell, Assistant City Manager, Chris Boatman, Assistant City <br />Manager <br />Mayor Banch called the special meeting to order and explained that comments could be presented <br />in -person, via Zoom, via cell phone or landline He offered the public an opportunity to provide <br />comment on any item on the agenda for the closed session <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />None forthcoming <br />CLOSED SESSION <br />Public Employee Appointment- Government Code §54957 (Mayor Banch and Mayor Pro Tem <br />Tejeda) <br />Title City Attorney <br />RECONVENE CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />The meeting reconvened at 7 48 P M <br />CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br />City Manager Duggan announced that during closed session, the City Council unanimously selected a <br />candidate for the position of City Attorney, and directed staff to move forward with the hiring <br />process, including the development of an employment agreement to be brought to a future City <br />Council meeting during open session <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further action required the meeting adjourned at 7 50 P M <br />Special CC_April 6, 2022 <br />Page 1 <br />
