AMENDMENT NO 2 <br />TO COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT NO R14088 <br />BETWEEN <br />SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY <br />AND <br />CITY OF REDLANDS <br />FOR <br />PLANNING, PROJECT REPORT AND ENVIRONMENTAL DOCUMENT, <br />PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND ESTIMATE (PS&E), RIGHT-OF-WAY (ROW), <br />AND CONSTRUCTION PHASES FOR THE INTERCHANGE AT UNIVERSITY <br />STREET AND INTERSTATE 10 IN THE CITY OF REDLANDS <br />THIS AMENDMENT No 2 (AMENDMENT) to the Cooperative Agreement No <br />R14088 (AGREEMENT) is made and entered into by and between the San Bernardino <br />County Transportation Authority (hereinafter referred to as AUTHORITY) and the City <br />of Redlands (hereinafter referred to as CITY) AUTHORITY and CITY may be referred <br />to herein as a "PARTY" and collectively "PARTIES" <br />RECITALS <br />A. AUTHORITY and CITY entered into the AGREEMENT on February 5, 2014, to <br />delineate their respective roles, responsibilities, and funding commitments relative <br />to the Project Management, Planning, Environmental, PS&E, ROW and <br />Construction activities of the Interchange at University Street and Interstate 10 in <br />the City of Redlands (PROJECT), and <br />B AUTHORITY and CITY entered into Amendment No 1 on June 8, 2020, to <br />redefine their respective funding responsibilities based on the revised PROJECT <br />costs, and <br />C Due to the construction change orders, an estimated amount of $770,000 needs to <br />be added to the construction contingency to cover the existing and anticipated <br />change orders for the completion of the PROJECT, and <br />D The PARTIES desire to amend the AGREEMENT, and its Attachment A, to <br />further redefine their respective funding responsibilities based on the revised <br />PROJECT costs and to provide a new, updated, estimated schedule for <br />completion of the PROJECT <br />R14088-2 Page 1 of 4 <br />
