A, SIDLER, Flood Control Engineer <br />.City of Redlands <br />City Hall <br />Redlands, California <br />County <br />DISTRICT <br />825 EAST THIRD STREET <br />SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA <br />July 24, 1962 <br />File No. 3-101/2.02 <br />Re: Zone 3, Santa Ana River, R/W Acq. <br />CITY OF REDLAND S <br />Attention: Mr. Fred Workman, City Manager <br />Gentlemen: <br />In previous negotiations between the City and this District, it was proposed <br />that certain City properties in the Santa Ana River be exchanged for District <br />owned Redlands Airport property. In line with these arrangements, we are <br />enclosing herewith Grant Deed documents over the following three City 'parcels <br />to be granted to the District: <br />Parcel No. 37D 61.62 Ac. <br />Parcel No. 39D 33.61 Ac. <br />Parcel. No. 40D 13.91 Ac. <br />TOTAL 109.14 Ac. <br />If you find these satisfactory, we would appreciate having them executed by <br />cognizant City officials and the originals returned to this office. These <br />will be submitted to the Board of Supervisors for acceptance simultaneously <br />with the grant to the City by the Board of the following parcel: <br />Parcel No. 36 88.27 Ac. <br />A copy of document for Parcel No. 36 is enclosed herewith for your information.. <br />It will be noted that an easement is being reserved to the District over a <br />portion of this grant for future fill purposes. This embraces low areas or <br />area between the present bluff and the proposed levee line. <br />It will be noted that this exchange involves 109.14 acres for 88.27.acres' <br />of District property whereas the negotiated basis was 106 acres for 77 acres. <br />
