MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDLANDS AND <br />YMCA OF REDLANDS <br />The purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Redlands and the YMCA <br />of Redlands is to specify the uses of Community Development Block Grant funds allocated to the <br />Redlands Police Department. This agreement shall be in place June 1, 2001 to May 31, 2006, and <br />may be modified at any time through mutual agreement. <br />Specifically, the City of Redlands agrees to: <br />1. Provide $10,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds toward the <br />completion of the kitchen and/or teen center renovation in the Y Alliance facility <br />located at 16 E. Olive Avenue, Redlands; <br />2. Provide $30,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds for the purchase of <br />computer equipment and accessories for the teen computer center located in the Y <br />Alliance facility. <br />The YMCA of Redlands agrees to: <br />1. Provide and maintain approximately 2,300 square feet of space in the Y Alliance <br />facility to be used as a teen computer lab; <br />2. Provide low- and moderate -income youth and families with access to the computer <br />lab and maintain records as to use of the facility; <br />Both parties agree to: <br />Date: <br />1. Promote a healthier community which builds resiliency in youth and hope for their <br />future; <br />2. Comply with all Community Development Block Grant requirements as established <br />by HUD and/or San.
