Waiver. RCIC shall not be responsible for or liable for, and the City of Redlands hereby <br />expressly waives any and all claims against RCIC, its officers, directors, shareholders, <br />employees, agents, contractors, subcontractors, guests or invitees, for injuries to persons or <br />damage to the City of Redlands' property or the property of its principals, employees, agents, <br />contractors, subcontractors, customers, guests and invitees, regardless of the cause. <br />Indemnification. Commencing on the Effective Date; the City of Redlands shall indemnify, and <br />hold RCIC harmless from any and all claims, actions, liens, demands, expenses and judgments <br />for loss, damage or injury to property or persons resulting or arising by reason of the City of <br />Redlands' permitted access to the Property and/or the Permitted Use. <br />Notices. Unless otherwise provided herein, any notice, correspondence or payment, or other <br />communication required or permitted to be given hereunder snail be in writing, and shall be <br />considered effective upon personal delivery.
