THIRD AMENDMENT TO PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT <br />This third amendment ("Third Amendment") to the Public Works Construction Contract <br />for the Joslyn Senior Center Renovation Project for the ("Contract"), dated [October 4, 2022], by <br />and between the City of Redlands, a municipal corporation and a general law city ("City"), and <br />Armstrong Cal Builders, Inc. ("Contractor"), is made and entered into this 19th day of September <br />2023. <br />RECITALS <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City and Contractor to amend their existing Contract, <br />specifically to amend the time for completion from receipt of notice to proceed within (402) <br />calendar days of the contract to December 22, 2023. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration in the receipt of which is hereby <br />acknowledge City and Contractor agree as follows: <br />AGREEMENT <br />Section 1. Section 3 of the contract, entitled "Time for completion," is hereby amended to <br />read as follows: <br />3. "TIME FOR COMPLETION: The Work shall be completed within four hundred (402) <br />calendar days from and after the date of City's issuance of a Notice to Proceed to Contractor." <br />Section 2. All other provisions of the Agreement shall remain unchanged by this Third <br />Amendment and in effect. <br />Section 3.
