Meteau Jr., HR/Risk <br />Management Director <br />Mayor Tejeda called the meeting to order and explained that comments could be presented in -person, via Zoom, via cell phone or landline. Duggan, Jr., City Manager; Chris Boatman, Assistant City Manager <br />Negotiating Party: Andrew Meyers Abdul-Wahab; 1675 Industrial Park, LP. <br />Under Negotiation: Terms of payment and price for possible purchase of property by the City. <br />RECONVENE CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />The meeting reconvened at 6:00 P.M. with an invocation by Council Member Guzman -Lowery. The Civil Air Patrol Color Guard presented the <br />colors and lead the Pledge of Allegiance to the American flag. <br />CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br />City Attorney Garcia announced that no reportable action was taken during the closed session. <br />PRESENTATIONS <br />Redlands Pet Adoption <br />Animal Services Supervisor Jodi Kroeger and Kennel Attendant Hailey Stuck introduced "Owen Wilson", an eleven -week-old male German <br />Shepherd mix who is available for adoption, along with forty-three other dogs at the Redlands Animal Shelter. Ms. Kroeger informed the Council <br />there had been three -hundred and four dogs and one -hundred and seventy-six cats adopted in 2023. <br />Black History Month Proclamation <br />Council Member Davis presented Black History Month proclamations to Jina Imani and Josiah Bruny, while Council Member Saucedo presented <br />proclamations to Joe Richardson, and Pastors Dr. Jackie Green and Anthony Green. All the Council Members showed their support while declaring <br />February as Black History Month, and it was noted that Ken Ford and Dawn Wright were unable to attend tonight's meeting. <br />Recognition of Eagle Scout Achievement <br />Council Member Saucedo presented a Certificate of Recognition to Esteban Matute for Eagle Scout ranking and acknowledged his great achievement. <br />CC_February 6, 2024 <br />Page 1 <br />
