ORDINANCE NO. 2964 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS AMENDING CHAPTER 3.52 <br />OF THE REDLANDS MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO WATER FUND <br />Section 1. Chapter 3.52 of the Redlands Municipal Code, titled "Water Fund," is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"CHAPTER 3.52 <br />WATER FUND <br />SECTION: <br />3.52.010: Establishment <br />3.52.040: Water Service Rate Schedule <br />3.52.010: ESTABLISHMENT: <br />There is established a water fund to provide for administration, operation and maintenance of the <br />Redlands domestic water system and its capacity to serve its existing users. The following rules <br />shall apply: <br />A. All service charges and all miscellaneous charges not otherwise designated shall be credited <br />to the water fund. The water fund shall be operated as an enterprise fund. All interest on the <br />cash balance of the fund shall accrue to the water fund. <br />B. Established within the water fund are a reserve for capital and a reserve for legal. <br />1. The reserve for capital shall be in addition to the annual capital replacement budget, <br />to establish a fund for capital expenditures necessary due to unforeseen or unusual <br />capital costs in any year, necessary to maintain the existing system and its capacity. <br />2. The reserve for legal shall be in addition to the annual budget for legal costs, to <br />establish a fund for legal expenditures due to unforeseen or unusual legal costs in any <br />one year. <br />3.62.040: WATER SERVICE RATE SCHEDULE: <br />Amounts of charges are set out in table 3.52.040 of this section. <br />TABLE 3.52.040 <br />WATER SERVICE RATE SCHEDULE <br />BIMONTHLY RATES <br />A.
