ORDINANCE NO. 1090 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OP CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED "ANNEXATION NO. 5" TO THE CITY OF RED: ANDS, CALIFORNIA. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS : WHEREAS, on the 4th day of March, 1958, the Council of the City of Redlands did pass and adopt Resolution No. 935 giving notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territory to the City of Redlands, said territory being therein designated as "Annexation No. 5", said Resolution describing the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed; and WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 933 did contain a notice of the day, hour and place when and where the Council of the City would hear protests made ley any person owning real property within the territory proposed to be annexed, the time of said hearing being not less than fifteen nor more than fifty days from the date of passage of said Resolution; and 7HEREA.S, on the 1st day of April, 1958, at the hour of 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Redlands, County of San Bernardino, State of California, said time and place being the day, hour and place fixed. in said Resolution No. 933 for hearing protests to the said annexation, the said City Council did, hear and pass upon all protests made to the proposed annexation and did determine that protests had not been made by the owners of one-half of the value of the territory proposed to be annexed is shown by the last equalized assessment roll, nor by public and private awners of one -.half of the value of the territory proposed to be annexed as ietermined by said legislative body; and WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Redlands, and is uninhabited territory in the County of San Bernardino; NOW THEREFORE, the said Council of the City of Redlands does hereby t.ppr ovo the annexation of the territory hereinafter described to the City of tedlands, and does hereby further ordain that the said territory be and is :ereby annexed to the City of Redlands. That, the land annexed within said Annexation District No- 5 shall be eeigna red as Open Land (o) District in the ta:ad. Use Zoning Mafia inop o:corated n Zoning ordinance No. 1000 of the City of Redlands. Only those uses pre � crd.bed in Ordinance No. 1000, or other uses the City Planning Commission may etermine as similar shall be permitted in the Open Land (o) District
