ORDINANCE NO. 1048 <br />AN- ORDINANCE OF INTENTION TO CLOSE SYLVAN BOULEVARD BETWEEN <br />UNIVERSITY STREET AND DIVISION STREET. <br />The City Council of the City of Redlands does ordain as <br />follows: <br />SECTION ONE: The City Council of the City of Redlands <br />hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Division 9t Part <br />3, Chapter 2 of the Streets and Highways Code of the Statt, of Cali- <br />fornia and to vacate a part of a street in the manner provided <br />therein. <br />SECTION T40: This City Council does hereby declare that <br />it is the intention of this City Council to order the vacation of <br />Sylvan Boulevard between University Street and Division Street, <br />described as follows: <br />All that portion of Sylvan Boulevard in the City of <br />Redlands, County of San Bernardino, State of Califor- <br />nia, lying between the East Right of Way line of Di- <br />vision Street, a street of 60 foot right of way, on <br />the West; and the West Right of Wayline of Univer- <br />sity Street, a street of 60 foot right of way, on <br />the East. <br />Subject to an easement described as follows: <br />Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of <br />Sylvan Boulevard and. University Street and running <br />thence S 0° 12' E, 21.01 feet; thence 5 86' 12' 30" <br />W 30.06 feet to the West line of University Street, <br />the true point of beginning; thence S 86° 12' 30" W, <br />a distance of 151.07 feet. <br />SECTION THREE: Said easement is reserved and excepted <br />by the California Water & Telephone Company. <br />
