RESOLUTION NO.8630 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS <br />ADOPTING THE MEASURE I FIVE-YEAR CAPITAL PROJECT NEEDS <br />ANALYSIS FOR FISCAL YEARS 2025/2026 THROUGH 2O29/2030. <br />WHEREAS, San Bernardino County voters approved passage of Measure I in November <br />2004, authorizing the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority to impose a one-half of one <br />percent retail transactions and use tax applicable in the incorporated and unincorporated territory <br />of the County of San Bernardino; and <br />WHEREAS, revenue from the tax can only be used for transportation improvement and <br />traffic management programs authorized in the Expenditure Plans set forth in Ordinance No. 04-1 <br />of the Authority; and <br />WHEREAS, the Strategic Plan requires each local jurisdiction applying for revenue from <br />certain Measure I Programs to annually adopt and update a Five -Year Capital Project Needs <br />Analysis; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redlands, <br />as follows: <br />Section 1. This City Council determines that approval of this Resolution is exempt from <br />review under California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") pursuant to CEQA Guidelines <br />sections 15061(b)(3), as it can be seen with certainty by this City Council that the approval of this <br />Resolution establishing a Five -Year Capital Project Needs Analysis will have no physical effect <br />on the environment. <br />Section 2.
