<br /> EASEMENT DEED
<br /> FOR A VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
<br /> GENERAL TELEPHONE COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA, a corporation, does hereby grant to
<br /> the CITY OF REDLANDS an easement for sidewalk purposes and incidents thereto,
<br /> upon and across the real property in the City of Redlands, County of San Ber-
<br /> nardino, State of California, described as follows .
<br /> "That portion of 80-foot wide Cajon Street vacated by
<br /> Resolution No. 925, recorded in Book 4448, Page 14, Official
<br /> Records of San Bernardino County, described as follows ;
<br /> COMMENCING at the most Southerly corner of that certain
<br /> parcel of land conveyed in trust to the town of Redlands
<br /> for public use as a fountain and watering place as per
<br /> Book 56 of Deeds, Page 380, Records of said County, said
<br /> point being shown by Record of Survey recorded in Book 27
<br /> of Surveys, Page 26, records of said County; thence North
<br /> 340 271 13" West along the Westerly line of the aforesaid �
<br /> parcel ofland 9090 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING!
<br /> thence Soo uth 00 01 ' 00" East along the West right of way ;
<br /> line of Orange Street, 3000 feet; thence South 890 57' 05"
<br /> West parallel with the Centerline of Citrus Avenue, 11 .28
<br /> feet; thence North 340 271 13" West parallel with the
<br /> Westerly line of the aforesaid parcel of land conveyed in
<br /> trust to the Town of Redlands , 46.34 feet to a point on the
<br /> South line of Citrus Avenue; thence North 890 57' 05" East
<br /> along the South line of said Citrus Avenue, 13.33 feet to
<br /> the intersection of said line and the Westerly line of the
<br /> aforesaid parcel of land conveyed in trust to the town of
<br /> Redlands; thence South 340 27' 13" East along the Westerly
<br /> line of the aforesaid parcel , 42.70 feet to the point of
<br /> beginning."
<br /> Except therefrom a perpetual nonexclusive easement upon, over, under,
<br /> across and along the property being conveyed hereinabove, to construct, use,
<br /> maintain, operate, alter, add to, repair, replace or remove facilities con-
<br /> sisting of cables , wires , underground conduits , manholes , vaults and other
<br /> appurtenances for the transmission of electrical energy for communication,
<br /> light, heat, power or other purposes. The grantor, its successors and assigns ,
<br /> and their respective agents, contractors and employees, shall have the right
<br /> of ingress, regress and egress with respect to said easement and every part
<br /> thereof at all times for the purpose of exercising the rights herein reserved.
