THIS Iiv'DENTURE, Made and entered into this 15th. day of <br />September, A. D. 1914, by and between H. C. BAR2R, of the County <br />of Walla VPalla, State of Washington, party of the first part, and <br />the CITY OF REDLANDS, a municipal corporation of the State of <br />California, party of the second part, WITNESSITH: <br />That the said party of the first part, for and in consider- <br />ation of the sum of One Dollar to him paid by the said party of <br />the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, and <br />other valuable consideration, does by these presents remise,, <br />release, and forever quitclaim unto the said party of the second <br />part, its successors and assigns, a strip of land within the <br />corporate limits of said City of Redlands, in the County of <br />San Bernardino, State of California, to be used for road purposes, <br />S I <br />Sixty (60) feet In width, being Thirty (30) feet on each side of <br />a center line described as follows: <br />Beginning at a point on the East line of the Southeast quar- <br />ter of Section Thirty-s:.x (36) in Township One (1) south, of <br />Range Three (3) West, of San Bernardino Base and M- ridian One <br />thousand Six hundred fifty-seven and eight-tensection; (167th)r�ceet <br />North of the Southeast corner of said q <br />South Nighty -three Degrees Sixteen Minutes: West Four hundred <br />eighteen and five -tenths feet (S. 830 16, W. )118.5 feet); thence <br />South Fifty-two Degrees Thirty-six Minutes West Three hundred <br />seventy-seven and three tenths feet (S. 521' 368 W. 377.3 feet); <br />thence South sixty-two Degrees: Forty-six Minutes West Six hundred <br />sixty-four and nine --tenths feet (S. 620 46, W. 664.9 feet); <br />thence South Forty --six Degrees Fifty-nine minutes West Eight feet <br />(s. 460- 591 half ofethemore or southeastsquarter ofint saidnthe sSectionThirty- <br />of the East h <br />Thirty— <br />six (36 ). <br />TO HAVE AND TO ROLD9 all and singular the said premises, <br />together with the appurtenances, for road and street purposes, <br />um -to the said party of the second part, its successors and assigns, <br />forever.
