RESOLUTION NO. 8190 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS <br />APPROVING A SECOND, ONE-YEAR EXTENSION OF TIME TO THE <br />EXPIRATION DATES FOR COMMISSION REVIEW AND APPROVALNO.895 <br />AND CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 1100 <br />WHEREAS, on May 1, 2018, the City Council held a public hearing and subsequently <br />adopted Resolution 7839 approving Commission Review and Approval No. 895 and Resolution <br />7840 approving Conditional Use Permit No. 1100; and <br />WHEREAS, on April 15, 2020, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 8070 approving a <br />one-year extension of time for both Commission Review and Approval No. 895 and Conditional Use <br />Permit No. 1100, extending the expiration dates to May 1, 2021; and <br />WHEREAS, Arteco Partners has submitted an application for a second, one-year extension of <br />time for both Conditional Use Permit No. 1100 and Commission Review and Approval No. 895 for <br />the adaptive reuse of the historic Mutual Orange Distributors Packing Plant to construct a multi - <br />tenant restaurant facility located at 330 North Third Street; and <br />WHEREAS, following the hearing for the second extension of time for both Commission <br />Review and Approval No. 895 and Conditional Use Permit No. 1100, the City Council determined <br />that approval of the same is in the best interests of the public health, safety and general welfare of the <br />Redlands community; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. California Environmental Quality The project was approved subject to an <br />exemption from enviromnental review pursuant to Sections 15331 and 15332 of the California <br />Environmental Quality Act Guidelines, and remains exempt as there have been no changes to the <br />scope of the project. <br />Section 2. Approval of Time Extension. The time extension request is hereby approved <br />in accordance with Redlands Municipal Code sections 18.12.130 and 18.192.090(A). <br />Section 3. Expiration Date. The new expiration date for both Commission Review and <br />Approval No. 895 and Conditional Use Permit No. 1100 is May 1, 2022. The project shall remain <br />subject to all original Conditions of Approval contained in City Council Resolution Nos. 7839 and <br />7840. <br />Section 4. Effective Date.
