RESOLUTION NO. 8572 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDLANDS <br />APPROVING A ONE-YEAR EXTENSION OF TIME TO THE EXPIRATION <br />DATE FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 1107 AND ASSOCIATED <br />ENTITLEMENTS PERTAINING TO THE ADAPTIVE REUSE OF A SINGLE- <br />FAMILY DWELLING LOCATED AT 1605 CALVARY CIRCLE. <br />WHEREAS, Guadalupe Cobanov, property owner and applicant, has submitted an <br />application for Extension of Time No. 1 to construct the project approved with Conditional Use <br />Permit No. 1107 for a physician's office and medical clinic located at 1605 Calvary Circle (APN: <br />0293-133-13-0000); and <br />WHEREAS, on April 19, 2022, the Redlands City Council held a public hearing and <br />adopted Resolution Nos. 8321, 8322, 8323, 8324, and 8325 to approve Historic Resource <br />Designation No. 135, Amendment 47 to Specific Plan No. 40, Conditional Use Permit No. 1107, <br />Variance No. 799, and Historic Parking Modification No. 31 for the project; and <br />WHEREAS, Redlands Municipal Code section 18.192.090 permits an applicant to request <br />a one-year extension of time to extend the expiration date for a Conditional Use Permit, provided <br />the total number of such one-year extensions does not exceed three; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant intends to develop the project approved by Conditional Use <br />Permit No. 1107, and filed an Extension of Time application prior to the entitlement's expiration <br />date in accordance with the Redlands Municipal Code; and <br />WHEREAS, on April 16, 2024, the City Council determined that the approval of the <br />requested one-year extension of time is in the best interests of the public health, safety, and general <br />welfare. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDLANDS AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. California Environrnental Quality Act. Approval of this Resolution is <br />exempt from further environmental review pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3) of the State Guidelines <br />implementing the California Environmental Quality Act, as there is no possibility of any <br />potentially significant environmental effects as a result of the time extension. City Council <br />Resolution No. 8323 was adopted on April 19, 2022, and determined the project was exempt from <br />environmental review in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (Sections <br />15061(b)(3), 15301, 15305, and 15331 of the CEQA Guidelines). <br />SECTION 2. Approval of Extension of Time. The proposed one-year extension of time <br />for Conditional Use Permit No. 1107, with associated entitlements, is hereby approved in <br />accordance with Redlands Municipal Code Section 18.192.090. <br />SECTION 3.
