A G R E E M E N T <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into by and between <br />the CITY OF REDLANDS, CALIFORNIA, hereinafter referred to as <br />the CITY, and PUBLIC MANAGEMENT SERVICE, INC., consultants, <br />hereinafter referred to as the CONSULTANTS: <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, the CITY desires an analysis of its positions <br />with resulting correct and up-to-date class specifications and <br />allocations that assure that such positions are properly des- <br />cribed and classified; and <br />14HEREAS, the CITY also desires an analysis of the pos- <br />ition classes for salary purposes based on their differentials <br />in duties and responsibilities; and <br />WHEREAS, the CONSULTANTS have heretofore performed <br />similar services for numerous cities and other public juris- <br />dictions and possess an acknowledged competence in such :[natters; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY MUTUALLY AGREED AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The CONSULTANTS agree to initiate their services on a <br />date set by the CITY by participating in scheduled meetings of <br />supervisors and employees held for the purpose of explaining the <br />purposes of the survey and to explain and clarify the methods to <br />be followed in its conduct. <br />2. The CONSULTANTS agree to make a detailed analysis of <br />the CITY'S approximately 284 full time positions through an exam- <br />ination of written statements submitted on questionnaires by the <br />-I- <br />
