MINUTES <br />Regular meetings of the City Council and the Board of Directors of the Successor Agency of the former <br />Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redlands held in the Council Chambers, Civic Center, 35 Cajon Street, on <br />October 5, 2021 at 5 00 P M <br />Present <br />Staff <br />Paul Banch, Mayor <br />Eddie Tejeda, Mayor Pro Tempore <br />Paul Foster, Council Member <br />Denise Davis, Council Member <br />Jenna Guzman -Lowery, Council Member <br />Dan McHugh, City Attorney, Robert Dawes, City Treasurer, Jeanne Donaldson, City Clerk, <br />Carl Baker, Public Information Officer, Chris Catren, Police Chief, Danielle Garcia, <br />Management Services/Finance Director, Tim Sullivan, Facilities and Community Services <br />Assistant Director, Brian Desatnik, Development Services Director, Jim Topoleski, Fire Chief, <br />John Harris, Municipal Utilities and Engineering Director, Janice McConnell, Assistant City <br />Manager <br />Mayor Banch called the meeting to order and offered those present the opportunity to provide <br />public comment on any item on the agenda for the closed session <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />None forthcoming <br />CLOSED SESSION <br />LATE BREAKING ITEM <br />City Attorney McHugh reviewed the need to take immediate action for consideration of real <br />property negotiations for a possible lease of Airport property Mayor Pro Tem Tejeda moved to <br />add to the City Council's closed session agenda as a "late breaking item", the matter of real <br />property negotiations with Gil Brown, Coyote Aviation, for terms of payment and price for <br />possible lease of Airport property by City The motion was seconded by Council Member Foster <br />and earned unanimously The item was added to the Closed Session Agenda <br />Conference with legal counsel Existing Litigation - Government Code §54956 9(d)(1) <br />(City Attorney McHugh) <br />One Case <br />a Gina Ruan v City of Redlands, et al , San Bernardino Superior Court Case No <br />CIVDS 1910501 <br />Conference with legal counsel Anticipated Litigation - Government Code §54956 9(d)(2)(e)(3) <br />(City Attorney McHugh) <br />One Case <br />a Facts and circumstances Threat of litigation arising from correspondence dated September <br />21, 2021, from William Cunningham relating to the Bergamot Specific Plan Project <br />CC_SA_October 5, 2021 <br />Page 1 <br />
